When its cold outside, there’s nothing like a warm soup to hit your bones and give you some ‘feel good solace’. This white bean soup is a smooth and sweeter version then most and always does the job on those winter nights.

It is not often that a sweet tooth comes my way and when it does, I’m so ready to try something that looks like it will hit the spot. Founded by Robin Standefer and Stephen Alesch,their unique design has lead to some amazing work notably Ace Hotel, The Standard Hotel, and 211 Elizabeth. Always on the lookout for new easy ways of getting fish on the table, I thought would try hand at what is a staple on any most sushi and/or Asian fusion menus. I decided to do a take that rebels against traditional Asian flavors of ponzu and sesame oil and wanted to go for a smooth sharper champagne vinaigrette.
